Latin American and Latino art is not one thing. It's painting, photography, film, sculpture, dance, music, murals, and so much more. When the Getty decided to bring Latin American and Latino art to LA as a part of Pacific Standard Time, we knew we couldn't just say one thing about the many different things people would find.
Each line corresponded to a piece of art. There were over one thousand participating artists in 70+ exhibitions all across Southern California.
We took the art on the road. On the outside – an extra large fridge magnet that allowed visitors to make up their own thoughts about what they could find at PST. On the inside – a virtual gallery of various art pieces. You could find it at Dodger's games, festivals, concerts, and participating museums.
